The Prussik-loop is a self-locking loop rope with a sewn loop. It is ideal for use as a brake during a rope descent.

This product meets the following standards (in progress - Quintin Certifications)

Standard EN 354 and EN 795: 2012 type B and Regulation (EU) 2016/425 on personal protective equipment.

Complies with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC

Specifications

The Prussik-loop consists of :

  • A braided loop made of aramid, a fiber known for its resistance to high temperatures and good mechanical properties.
  • A PES protective sheath.
  • A spliced and sewn loop overmolded in PE.

This product must not be used beyond its limits or in any situation other than that for which it is intended.
